Introduction

I am Dr. Kumar Siddharth, a dedicated ophthalmologist with specialized expertise in Glaucoma and Cataract surgery. I am deeply committed to preserving and restoring vision for my patients through evidence-based care, advanced surgical techniques, and compassionate service.
With extensive training at premier institutions, I bring a blend of high-volume clinical experience, cutting-edge diagnostic and laser skills, and a growing body of research to deliver the best possible outcomes.
My goal is simple: to help you see the world clearly and brightly, whether you're dealing with glaucoma, cataracts, or other eye conditions.

Qualifications

I completed my MBBS (Kasturba Medical College, Manipal) followed by MS Ophthalmology at SCBMCH Cuttack, Odisha (Utkal University) well as DNB Ophthalmology. I pursued long-term Glaucoma fellowship (2021–2025) at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai, one of India’s leading eye care institutions, where I received intensive subspecialty training in complex glaucoma management, lasers, and surgeries. I also hold FAICO in Glaucoma (2024–2025), affirming competence in the field.

Expertise

Surgeries: Over 1000 surgeries, with strong focus on cataract (SICS and phacoemulsification) and glaucoma procedures (trabeculectomy, MIGS, tube shunts, bleb needling), plus regular experience in DCR, pterygium, chalazion, lid repair, evisceration/enucleation.
Laser: Routine hands-on use of peripheral iridotomy, goniopuncture, suture lysis, SLT, continuous wave and micropulse cyclophotocoagulation.
Advanced Diagnostics: Proficient in a full range of glaucoma-specific tools: Humphrey Field Analyzer, OCT UBM & B-scan, multiple tonometers (GAT, rebound, non-contact), and ultrasound pachymetry for precise IOP adjustment and risk assessment.
